Who We Are
Helio is a non-profit founded with a simple mission - increase the number of people participating in charitable ventures by making it as easy as possible to donate.
Why We Exist
There's a trend in how easy it is for people to interact with social media and the world around them - from discovering new content and creating accounts across a variety of platforms to making purchases using Apple Pay and one-click ordering.
We noticed that this doesn't yet extend to charity - it takes less time to rent a vacation house than it does to find a reputable non-profit, go to their website, and enter all the relevant information required to make a donation. We aim to bridge this gap by providing people with a new model that makes donating as easy as downloading an app.
How Helio Works

Step 1
Helio users download the app and select an amount they'd like to donate monthly - starting at $1

Step 2
Every month, Helio will collect its user's
contributions, and give grants to charities selected by Helio's board that pass Helio's
grant-making guidelines.
Step 3
As grants are made, you'll get a notification on which charity your donation went to and what their impact is.
